Ever had a friend ask you to do something you weren't sure about? Well that's what this blog is a result of, a Second Life citizen taking a chance that someone out there will want to hear what she has to say. My name is Lovely Lady E, some of you might know me as Elissiana Caproni, or El as most of my family and friends around the grid have come to call me. I've been in SL for a little over 3 years now and over the time I've spent there I've come to find two things are true and never change. First of all, SL is a beautiful place because of it's residents, it's a universe bursting with creativity which is what always keeps me coming back. It's also a place where you never stop learning, as in the real world, SL has it's ups and downs but it's all about how you handle it and what you learn from it.
Tip Number 1: If you're lucky enough to find good friends in SL cherish them. You will fight with friends and make plenty of mistakes in the real world but learn from the mistakes and try your best to save the friendship. Good friends are hard to come by and I'm no different I've fought with and lost some good friends but I'm not perfect and neither are you. Keep this in mind and try to take the good with the bad.
I hold many titles in SL including photographer, model, club manager, host, sister and friend. I take each one of these titles seriously and each represents a small fraction of the picture that is Elissiana Caproni. As a photographer, I love being able to give people a glimpse of the beauty I see in SL and the beauty I see in other Avatars. I am blessed to have my own studio, Mystique Images by Elissiana Caproni (http://www.wix.com/elissianacapronisl/mystique-images) opened it's doors this month and I'm hoping to leave my mark on SL in various ways in print and media. As a model I enjoy becoming a work of art through the designs I'm lucky enough to wear and grace the pages of various magazines in SL including MANIERA magazine (http://issuu.com/maniera) which will always hold a special place in my heart because it was the first magazine and modeling agency to give me my first chance on the runway and to introduce me to all things fashion.
With this blog I intend to take my readers on a journey through my thoughts and experiences in SL . No, you will not get every detail of my SL but you will get the things I think will help you to enjoy SL better and any advice I can offer to help you navigate your way through this world. We'll talk about everything from finding work in SL to SL relationships. So I hope you've enjoyed my intro, will you take the plunge with me?
